As most of you are aware, we rebranded as Direct Digital; with a new name, we offer more options and the same dedication. We recently held our annual Direct Assist Social and merged it with a rebrand launch party so that our clients and photography assistants could familiarise themselves with all the changes at Direct Digital and what we now offer.
For those who weren’t able to attend, you missed out on quite a party, but we’ll get you up to speed on all the changes.
New signage at our London office leads to more changes inside where a new client-focused waiting area, featuring an espresso bar, can be found as you enter. Further along, our rental desk team sits in a more collaborative environment in front of a newly refurbed camera department which has new racking; this allows us to hold more equipment—which is apt as we have a new Moving Image department. Not only can we offer our services for still photography, but we are now fully equipped to help you light and shoot moving image—whether it’s a commercial, music video, or behind the scenes.
We are excited to present the new Direct Digital and even more excited to share it with our photography assistants and clients, so thank you to everyone who made it out.
We are committed to the industry and to helping up-and-coming assistants find their way. If you aren’t already familiar, Direct Assist
is a way for photography assistants to brush up on their skills, meet other assistants, and network with possible employers.
